Denver Biscuit Company is a must stop for weekend brunch. Denver Biscuit Company (DBC) was started by Drew Shader and wife Ashleigh first as a food truck, Biscuit Bus, then they opened a location on Colfax Ave. in the back of the Atomic Cowboy bar.
Drew saw a need for really good biscuits in Denver, and he delivers them in a big way. DBC has been featured on CNN, The Cooking Channel and the Food Network because of the amazing, flaky biscuits they produce with delicious creations and spins from the regular biscuit.
They have traditional recipes that are better than your mom’s like biscuits and gravy, gigantic, homemade cinnamon rolls, strawberry short cake, delicious pot pies and unique creations like The Dahlia, a biscuit sandwich made with house made sausage, apple butter, fried egg and maple syrup. They also make some of the best sweet potato fries in Denver.
DBC recently opened a new location on Broadway and Maple, and the original DBC is located on Colfax. Both locations share a space with the bar Atomic Cowboy and Fat Sully’s Pizza, which also are well worth the stop at night.
