Wine & Dine for a Noble Cause
This coming Tuesday, November 5th, at 6pm, some of Denver’s finest dining establishments will be serving up an event that you won’t want to miss, particularly if you consider yourself a foodie. It is a rare occasion for so many well-known Mile High eateries to come together, but in light of the cause many of Denver’s most celebrated restaurants and caterers signed up.
The event is for Project Angel Heart, an organization dedicated to delivering nutritious meals to improve the quality of life for people coping with life-threatening illness, all at no cost.
One meal at a time, this organization has helped ensure that those Coloradoans living with HIV/Aids and other life-threatening illnesses receive proper nutrition. This event will help support these efforts, and at the same time provide guests with a tasting of some of the most delicious bites and alluring cocktails Denver dining has to offer.
Among the restaurants participating are some of Culinary Connectors’ favorites such as Jonesy’s Eat Bar, Le Grand Bistro, Vesta Dipping Grill, TAG, Second Home Kitchen & Bar, and The Corner Office. While these restaurants can be visited on a Culinary Connectors Top Restaurant Tour, this event will present you with an opportunity to eat your way through all of these restaurant’s best bites all at once! Going from tasting station to tasting station, you will become more and more in love with being a “philanthropic foodie” who puts their passion for food towards a greater good.
Once you have filled your tummy to its capacity you can sit back or, if you prefer, rock out to some authentic Denver entertainment. There will also be a silent auction for those who want to get their hands on VIP tickets to The Book of Mormon, a Palisade wine country weekend, or a priceless MLB.com Colorado Rockies opening day VIP experience. These along with 150 other exciting prizes will be auctioned off at this one event.
Whether you are a true food lover out to discover some new Denver restaurants or you just simply want to support a good cause, Denver’s A Taste for Life offers something for everyone. In light of the important cause you would be supporting, wining and dining never seemed so noble. Don’t miss out on a unique opportunity to practice a bit of philanthropy simply through your glass and your fork.
Denver’s A Taste for Life 2013 will be taking place at the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center. For tickets and more information go to: http://www.projectangelheart.org/events/taste-for-life.html.
